Okendo Lewis-Gayle is Founder Chairman of the Harambe Entrepreneur Alliance (HEA). In partnership with Fortune 500 companies and prestigious universities, HEA supports the entrepreneurial aspirations of highly educated young Africans through fellowships, scholarships, angel investment and up to $200,000 in venture capital. The work of HEA has been recognized by the Parliaments of South Africa and the United Kingdom, the White House and the Vatican. HEA entrepreneurs are graduates of leading universities in Asia, Europe and North America including Harvard, Oxford and Peking. Through their social and business ventures Harambe Entrepreneurs are creating jobs and opportunities across Africa, in a wide range of sectors and groups including the Enzi Footwear in Ethiopia, Lulaway in South Africa, and Wennovation Hub in Nigeria.
