Homework due *before* the exam: 7.3: 11, 12, 13, 18, 22.  Compute the Euler characteristic of the torus in two different ways: directly from a triangulation, and using the tree T and the dual graph $\Gamma$ discussed in class.

Chapter 6! 15, 17 ,22,23,24  We will present progress on these problems on Tuesday, so be ready!
