The Internal Control Awareness Award was initiated to recognize a Tufts organization that has demonstrated appreciation for internal controls and implemented sound business practices. This determination is based on the results of follow-up audits that have been conducted by AMAS during the preceding 12 months.  Organizations whose management has implemented the majority of agreed-to recommendations resulting from the original audits qualify as candidates for the award.
