October 21st, 12pm–1pm

Leave this workshop with your very own customizable website or blog and the resources necessary to keep it up and running.

Trunk Project Sites
October 28th, 12pm–1pm

Learn about creating a project site that can be used for managing your club, class project, grant proposal, and more.

Resources for Building Websites
November 4th 12pm–1pm

Learn the basics of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Set up a server on your computer, create a basic webpage, and learn the difference between the client and the server.

Short Primers on Programming Languages
November 18th, 12pm–1pm

Understand the modern principles of web frameworks, including Backbone.js and node.js. Learn how to build maintainable web applications.

LaTex
November 25th, 12pm–1pm

Learn how to streamline the writing of your research papers and science labs by concentrating on content, letting LaTex take care of the appearance and formatting.

iPad Apps for Productivity
December 2nd, 12pm–1pm

View a showcase of the most prominent apps out there and a discussion of their advantages and disadvantages, learning which apps are best for you.
