The Audrey Butvay Gruss Science Award Winner: Emma Meehan

In addition to her strong academic performance, Emma Meehan (E20) is an executive board member of the Tufts’ chapters of both the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE).  Emma did research in cutting edge Biotechnology, studied abroad at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, and was the recipient of the Tufts with Rwanda Fellowship and spent her time there promoting education for genocide prevention. 

The Audrey Butvay Gruss Science Award is for outstanding academic work in any of the sciences.
