Researchers will convene in Dhaka in the month of December 2011 to collect books, writings and other literary work published by the Bangladeshi intellectuals interviewed. This collection will be added to the oral history archive.

Goal Reached. Sixty-three oral histories recorded.
We have surpassed our goal of collecting forty-five oral histories as part of our 2009-2010 NEH Collaborative Research Grant project. Sixty-three oral histories have been recorded to date.
Major Grant Application Submitted
The Tufts team, along with our collaborators at the University of North Texas and the Dhaka University have applied for a major NEH grant to support the digitization and cataloguing of oral histories in this collection.
New Oral Histories
Over the summer, oral histories were completed with Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak, Salahuddin, Jyotirmoy Datta and Rehman Sobhan.
NEH Grant Awarded
We are pleased to announce that the National Endowment for the Humanities has awarded this project a grant in support of collection and preservation, beginning July 2010.
