This Friday, BMES is hosting a Barbecue on Fletcher Field.

This will be a great opportunity for undergrads, graduate students and professors to meet and mingle with the rest of the department and the BMES club members.

You can look forward to…

• Free food– hamburgers, veggie burgers, chips, etc
• Soccer– Students vs Professors, anyone?
• Frisbee
• Volleyball

Bring friends, and be ready to make new ones!

–> We decided upon the design below for our T-shirts (with a filled in elephant). Look forward to an email in the next week or so with ordering details

–> Congratulations to our trifecta of Freshman Representatives: Heather McSherry, Shira Faigel, and Daniella DiPaola!! They will be a welcome addition to the eBoard.

We also talked about our schedule going forward, and what the members most wanted to see. Stay tune for information about the Scitech Costume Contest this Halloween, a potential company tour in early November, a tour of the BME facilities at MIT and BU, and information about how to find an internship.

Our next club meeting will be on October 24th, 4:30 in ADSN 210. More info to come.
