Chris Gardner, President
Chris is a senior majoring in Engineering Science and Geology. At Tufts, Chris is also involved with Tufts Film Series, Programming Board, intramural sports, and is a Tour Guide. He has previously served on the CCT Board as the Eucharistic Minister and Lector Coordinator. As President, Chris wants expand CCT’s presence at Tufts and add new events and programs to what CCT already does.
Jacob Denney, Vice-President
Jake is a junior History Major pursuing a minor in Entrepreneurial Leadership Studies. He is also a member of the Tufts Sailing Team and student chapter of Engineers Without Borders. Last year he worked as a spiritual coordinator with Mary Sypek and hopes to use his role as vice president to expand the presence of CCT throughout campus.
Griselle Ong, Treasurer
Griselle is a junior majoring in Computer Science and Psychology. In the past, she served as CCT’s Social Coordinator and EM/L Coordinator. Besides being involved in CCT, Griselle also coordinates a volunteer ESL program for the Tufts’ custodial staff, teaches lego engineering for the Center for Engineering Education Outreach and, once in a while, works with student-run theatrical shows as a props designer.
Kimberly Smith, Eucharistic Minister & Lector Coordinator
Kim is a junior and is the Eucharistic Minister and Lector coordinator for the 2011-2012 year. She is majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a possible minor in German. Besides being involved in CCT she is also involved in the tour guide program, is a member of the Society of Woman Engineers and teaches CCD at a local parish. She is looking forward to getting many new faces involved in mass.
Meagan Edmonds, Outreach
Meagan is a sophomore and is co-Outreach coordinator for the 2011-2012 year. She is majoring in Art History with a minor in Religion. Her activities include Writing Fellows, Programming Board, Tour Guiding, and mentoring with Strong Women Strong Girls. She is excited to plan outreach events for the year and hopes to see a variety of new faces getting involved with CCT!
Tess Bonoli, Outreach
Tess is a junior at Tufts, majoring in Classics, Italian and Latin. She is also the secretary of TUPAC (Tufts University Presents Archaeology and Classics) and is involved with the Italian Club. She works as a Writing Fellow, Latin tutor and Office assistant in the Classics Department. This is Tess’ first year on the CCT Board and is excited to be the co-Outreach Coordinator. She is looking forward to planning various outreach events throughout the year, along with Meagan, and encourages volunteers from all backgrounds to participate.
Megan Berkowitz, Spiritual Coordinator
Megan is a sophomore studying Biology and English. She is also involved in Tufts Cross Country and Track and Field, Interfaith Social Action, Breakthrough Science Magazine, and QSA. As co-spiritual coordinator this year, Megan hopes to help develop a stronger community as well as explore her own spiritual identity and help others in the same journey.
Mary Sypek, Spiritual Coordinator
Mary is a junior majoring in Child Development and Biology and minoring in Education. She is also involved in Tufts Cross Country and Track and Field, Interfaith Social Action, and Special Friends. As a second-year co-spiritual coordinator, Mary hopes to continue listening to and acting on the spiritual needs of CCT as well as help make connections between CCT and other religious groups on campus.
Catherine Stephenson, Spiritual Coordinator
Catherine is a sophomore majoring in Child Development. She is also a member of Alpha Omicron Pi and is involved in Jumpstart, an Early Education initiative.
Emily Bartlett, Social
Emily is a junior double majoring in Spanish and Religion and minoring in Teaching and Learning. She is the Goddard Chapel sexton, the Vice President of Operations for Tufts Student Resources, Vice President of the Tufts Democrats, and a member of the club lacrosse team. Returning from her semester abroad in Barcelona, she is jumping back into the same position she held last year and hoping to continue to strengthen the sense of community on campus.
Annie Donovan, Secretary
Annie is a freshman and the newest member of the E-Board. She plans to major in Chinese and IR with a concentration in International Finance. She also partakes in Tufts Finance, Tufts Entrepreneurial Society, and Leonard Carmichael society. She looks forward to what this new position on the board has to offer.
Jackie Gonzalez, Webmaster
Jackie is a second-year Master’s student studying child development and technology. She works as an Academic Technology Fellow on campus. When not doing research or playing video games, she dabbles in web and graphic design.
