The 5th Annual Conference for Heart Healthy Stroke Free Massachusetts will take place on January 28, 2011; this year’s conference is Weighing the Evidence: Changing Policy, Systems, and the Environment for Preventing and Managing Heart Disease, Stroke, and Diabetes. The closing speaker will be Dave McGillivray, Boston Marathon Race Director.

Planning Committee in Boston for a Single-Payer System in Vermont this coming Saturday, January 8th. Simeon Kimmel is the lead on this planning committee. Here is a comprehensive power point on VT having the chance to form a state wide single-payer system which was made by a Yale medical student.
