First of all, congratulations on your admission to Tufts! We are so excited to meet you all!
Freshman year is a time of new and fast changes, and we are sure that there will be a lot on your plates: packing and unpacking, assignments and exams and most of all the struggle of finding yourself in college. Interdenominational Christian Fellowship is a place to explore your questions and find your sense of meaning and purpose in college in a different way: through God’s eyes. At ICF, you can grow in your faith and find your home away from home!
What is Interdenominational Christian Fellowship?
ICF is a dynamic, Christ-centered community that seeks to strengthen its members and reach out to the entire Tufts campus. It’s a great place to share your passion for Jesus and faith and use your talents and gifts for God’s glory! For those who are just starting to look into faith, there are so many opportunities (small groups, large group events, one-on-one encounters) to openly ask questions about how God relates to us personally. ICF is truly a family… You will find brothers and sisters from all different backgrounds, cultures and places on their spiritual journey to explore faith with and share in the hard times and successes of life during your time at Tufts.
Does God have a plan for me at Tufts?
God has more than a plan for you at Tufts…He has a plan for your life! At ICF we will explore together who this God is and the great plans he has for our lives. We will learn what it means to fix our eyes on Jesus and to silence all the noise that college can bring us.
What can I do at ICF?
Don’t miss out on Jesus and Java during Orientation, a café-style open mic session with great music and awesome people to meet!
From Orientation throughout the rest of the year, there are a lot of opportunities to start your journey! Freshman Small Group is a great way to make new friends and learn more about putting faith into action. There are other small communities like Upperclassmen Small Groups, as well as Capen Small Groups for the black and latino community! Finally, there are many events that bring the whole community together, especially Large Group, where we touch on subjects relevant to college students today and see how God relates to our lives.
