Just talking…. the power of words. Oftentimes called storytelling. The oral tradition of storytelling was a social medium used to pass on many things from one person to another throughout history. Once upon a time storytelling was all we had to share our lives, traditions, knowledge, -- anything. Before modern technologies gave us the ability to email, text, tweet, and IM we gathered to tell stories. Connect 2 is about telling stories. It is reconnecting the spoken word to the person and learning anew the power of a person’s voice. Our archival and literacy storytelling project seeks to provide SCALE students and staff the unique opportunity to share and preserve their life stories and to voice their thoughts and opinions. Join us in listening to and celebrating the spoken word.
