And if the student is submitting an assignment in paper in class? And if the student is finishing it last minute before class?

As cardless, I'm getting creative here. It's not called Jumbo Cash for nothing. If it's named cash, it is cash. What form it takes is irrelevant.

Hey now! While I am on Team Cashless, I generally love cash and I am neither a drug lord, parent, pervert, and Boston landlord! Cash is still the best way to tip people, whether it be a taxi driver (I know, you don't use them), a hotel room maid, a valet, a golf caddy, etc. Not that I do those activities often - those are all kind of white color things and I still don't have an income.
The secrecy that cash allows is also great if you're married and you and your spouse share a mint.com account or the like. Buying someone a birthday gift and having them know exactly how much you spent on it and where you got it takes a lot of the excitement and surprise out of it.

Under no circumstance should this student be allowed to print, and, therefore, circumvent the rules of "Cash Only." Printing is not necessary. The student can, for example, read on screen, peer over the shoulder of another student, or simply note down everything in the article by hand. If all that fails, rehearsing the contents of a given piece as though it were the script of a play, would suffice. If in the event the student needs a printed copy for class, he/she should simply barter with another student who does have a printed version. Coffee for prints; singing for prints; magic tricks for prints.

Overall, we must remember: DOWN WITH CARDS.

So Its day two of my cashless experience! and seems that life has put me in the place where I need to be :) . I have always hated paying with cards - plastic money? NO way....Since I got here, one of my cultural fights has been against the non-cash use here. Honestly, playing coffees, muffins, high lighters and even a bottle of milk with a credit card, for me, was something that I was not used to while in Europe. We do love paying with cash! So here we go. No cash in my wallet, feels completely empty : ( Weird! even felt weird when paying a 3 dollar coffee today with that. The first effect of this...I do NEED to put some money in my Jumbo card...i have always had enough to do my laundry, copies (in case) and no more...now...I cant pay with credit card in the Student Center! ... so I just hope not losing my "plastic resource of money" during this week. !!
