New Director

Triple Jumbo Hubert Park joins alumni board.

Hubert Park, D11, DG14, MPH14, was elected as a director to the executive board of the Tufts University Dental Alumni Association. While a student at Tufts, Park helped start a dental clinic at the free, volunteer-run Sharewood treatment center in Malden, which continues to provide dental services to the community. He also volunteered for several international service trips, providing dental care to underserved populations in Kenya, the Dominican Republic, Bolivia and Zambia.

After dental school, Park completed a General Practice Residency at the New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical College. He then returned to Tufts and completed his residency in pediatric dentistry, serving as the chief resident. Park also received a Master of Public Health degree from Tufts School of Medicine, with a focus on infant and toddler nutritional imbalances and racial disparities in oral health. He chairs the Massachusetts Dental Society’s membership committee and is the vice chair of the Boston District Dental Society. He owns a pediatric dentistry and orthodontics practice in Lynn and also practices in Beverly and Malden. Park is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Massachusetts Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. In his spare time, he enjoys running, hiking and playing basketball and also spending time with his wife, Amy, and daughter, Alina.
