Boston Cyclists Union Internship Opportunities

The Boston Cyclists Union’s mission is to promote the everyday use of bicycles by advocating for safe, convenient, and enjoyable cycling facilities in all of Boston’s neighborhoods.  We envision a Boston that is world renowned for year round cycling, a place where people ride for fun, exercise, and transportation.

BCU is seeking to fill several intern positions including:

  • Membership and Development Intern
  • GIS Intern
  • Urban Planning/Organizer Intern
  • Design Intern
  • Bike to Market Intern
  • Graphic/Web Design Intern
  • Hypemaster Intern

Qualifications for all interns:

  • Commitment to the Union’s mission of promoting the bicycle.

  • Happy to work in a small tight-knit team for a rapidly growing organization.

  • Organized and self motivated.

  • Ability to solve problems and work without direct supervision when necessary

  • Residence within the greater Boston area.

  • Must be able to spend at least one full day (10am-6pm) in the office each week.

Internships are unpaid but we are happy to help students earn academic credit for their work. Interns who leave the organization in good standing may request a letter of recommendation from our staff.
