Charles River Watershed Science Internship

Charles River Watershed Association (CRWA) is offering exciting internship positions that focus on a variety of watershed protection tasks. (See www.charlesriver.org/projects.html for more information on current projects).  Intern’s responsibilities may include water quality monitoring, field work, sample bottle preparation, data entry and analysis, administrative tasks, science and/or internet research, and other related work.  All internships are unpaid but in many cases, interns are able to coordinate these unpaid positions with their school programs to receive college credit. Internship schedules are flexible within normal business hours. The internship requires a commitment of at least 16 hours per week. Preference is given to candidates who are able to make at least a three month commitment. 

Desired Qualifications:

  • An interest in environmental and water issues, a willingness to learn
  • A major or coursework in civil/environmental engineering, water resources, hydrology, biology, chemistry, environmental science, or a related field
  • Access to a car and a valid driver’s license is helpful.
