Several positions at NMR Group Inc.

NMR Group Inc., is a small consulting firm located in Somerville focusing on energy efficiency. We are looking for some temporary employees to help us conduct some onsite research regarding residential lighting in Massachusetts. I’m hoping that you can help me to reach out to students who may be interested in getting some field research experience. We have two positions available that students may be interested in:

 

Onsite Lighting Data Collection – Temporary, Massachusetts (Boston/South Shore/Western MA)

Details: NMR Group Inc, an energy efficiency consulting firm in Boston, MA is looking for temporary workers to conduct onsite data collection in Massachusetts. We are targeting to begin work on this project the week of December 8th. The entire project will run through mid-February, with a two week break around the holidays, and will require approximately 35 to 40-hour commitment per week. The position requires visiting homes and collecting information on lighting used in the home. Scheduling is flexible; prefer those who can work Saturdays and one evening a week.

Qualifications:

Required: Access to a car; clean driving record; access to a cell phone; prompt; organized; must pass background and drug testing.

Strongly Preferred: College education; familiarity with tablets/ipads; customer service experience; interested in energy efficiency and sustainability (a plus).

Compensation: $20/hr

Scheduler/Onsite Coordinator – Temporary, Somerville, MA

Details: NMR Group Inc, an energy efficiency consulting firm in Somerville, is looking for a temporary worker to recruit and schedule onsite data collection home visits in Massachusetts. The scheduler will be responsible for the following: – Contacting homeowners – Clearly communicating the purpose of the study – Planning and coordinating onsite visits – Expediting operations that delay schedules and altering schedules to meet unforeseen conditions The position will start the week of December 1st, will run through mid-February, with two weeks off around the holidays, and will require a 20-25 hour commitment per week. The hours will mostly be weekdays during the afternoon/evening (2pm-7pm), but may include some mornings and some Saturdays.

Qualifications:

Required: Strong organizational skills; Working knowledge of Excel/Word; Good communication skills; respectful phone demeanor; Must pass background and drug testing.

Strongly Preferred: College education; Customer service experience; Prior recruiting/scheduling experience; Interested in energy efficiency and sustainability (a plus); Live close enough to commute via public transportation

Compensation: $20/hr
