Internship | Wildlands Restoration Volunteers

Wildlands Restoration Volunteers (WRV) is accepting applications for interns for both Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 in the Fort Collins, CO office.
 
Wildlands Restoration Volunteers is a non-profit organization that provides an opportunity for people to come together, learn about their natural environment, and take direct action to restore and care for the land. We have been implementing community-led ecological restoration projects along the Front Range for over 17 years.
 
This fall, we have several large ecological restoration projects scheduled along the Front Range, as well as opportunities to engage youth and provide internal support. We are looking for the following:
 
Restoration Project Intern: Assist with project planning and implementation. Requirements: minimum of 10 hrs./wk and commitment to a minimum of 2 weekend restoration projects.
Marketing & Social Event Intern: Assist with press releases, outreach, office beautification, posters, and more. Creativity is highly desired! Requirements: minimum of 10 hrs/wk. & commitment to assisting with one social event.
Youth Program Intern: Working with youth to promote the concept of land stewardship and ecological restoration. Requirements: minimum of 10 hrs/wk. & commitment to lead 2 youth programs.
 
Fall 2015 season: mid-September through November 20th.
Spring 2016 season: January 11th through May 15th.
