  • Visit fracking wells in Dimock, PA., tour a wastewater treatment plant, and hike the pristine Catskills reservoirs that make up the largest unfiltered water system in the world
  • Debate the role that meat plays in our food system by touring a Cargill slaughterhouse and participating in a small-scale lamb slaughter on a family farm
  • Build and operate a water catchment system, learn the basics of permaculture, and work with plants and animals on our on-site farm

Eco Practicum Catskills engages with more than 20 partner organizations, including the Natural Resources Defense Council, the Watershed Protection and Partnership Council, Root N’ Roost Farm, and Wildflower Farm and Aquatic Center. See our list of partners.
