2016/2017 Internship Opportunities at Save the Harbor/Save the Bay

Save the Harbor/Save the Bay has several exciting and challenging internships for smart, articulate, well organized, and enthusiastic undergraduates, recent graduates or graduate students who are interested in making a difference and being a part of one of Boston’s most effective non-profits.

 

We are currently seeking several motivated, responsible and high-energy interns willing to commit 20 hours a week to assist us in several areas:

 

Public Policy and the Environment
Help support our public policy work with the Metropolitan Beaches Commission, which we lead and manage for the Legislature, and help with data analysis for our annual Beach Water Quality Report Card.

 

Communications, Social Media Marketing and Events

Learn how to write and distribute press releases, create content for our newsletter and blog, and market our events and programs on social media including Facebook and Twitter.

 

Development & Non-Profit Management

Learn how to conduct foundation and corporate fundraising research, take part in event outreach and crowd building, and learn what it takes to lead, manage and fuel a successful non-profit.

 

Web Design, E-Commerce & Content Development

Sharpen your skills and build your portfolio as you help develop and manage new content for our current website and blog and launch our new e-commerce site.
