Science Coordinator, Missouri Botanical Garden

We are seeking a Science Coordinator (permanent position) in the Applied Plant Ecology and Conservation Lab at the Missouri Botanical Garden. Under the direction of Dr. Matthew Albrecht, this position will coordinate and implement scientific research projects and activities related to the population dynamics, restoration and reintroduction, and seed conservation of  threatened plant species. The Science Coordinator will maintain scientific experiments in growth chambers and in natural communities throughout the south-central United States, including the Missouri Botanical Garden¹s Shaw Nature Reserve. The position will also be responsible for maintaining ex situ seed collections of globally imperiled plants, managing day-to-day activities  in CCSD¹s Plant Conservation Science Lab with or without direct
supervision, and coordinating relationships with collaborative partners and governmental
agencies.
