Nantucket Land Bank Part-Time Seasonal Land Steward

The Nantucket Land Bank seeks a qualified individual to assist with daily property cleanup from approximately June 15th – September 2nd. Schedule will be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. with one hour unpaid lunch. One weekend per month will also be required, along with two holidays (July 4th and September 1st).

This position’s primary responsibilities will be to pick up trash, litter and insure the properties are safe for public use. Other land management duties or tasks may be assigned by the Property Foreman as needed.  

Required qualifications:

-valid driver’s license

-ability to lift and maneuver a minimum of 50 lbs

-strong interpersonal skills  

Preferred qualifications:

-experience driving four-wheel drive vehicles on dirt roads and sand  

Hourly rate is $20/hour with no benefits. Housing available. CORI check is required.
