Learning Catalytics is a student engagement, assessment, and classroom response system that enables instructors to solicit and display feedback on everything from student attendance to comprehension of knowledge during or out-of-class. It is recommended for Tufts faculty interested in increasing student engagement in teaching, especially those teaching a course of more than 40 students and who need to track student responses. It allows the instructor to design and deliver various types of questions, check student understanding, and inspire peer-to-peer learning with real-time analytics and team-based assessment.
Accounts are free for instructors, and the cost of student access varies by school. To learn more about student licensing options and to set up an instructor account, contact ETS at email@example.com. (Instructors at the Dental School should contact Jennipher Murphy directly at Jennipher.Murphy@tufts.edu.)
