Eliezer Ayalon, Holocaust Survivor
Posted by Georgy Cohen in General on October 19, 2010
On Oct. 19, Holocaust survivor Eliezer Ayalon spoke on the Medford/Somerville campus at an event sponsored by Tufts Hillel.
A survivor of the Holocaust, Eliezer Ayalon lived through the atrocities of five Nazi concentration camps and a death march. After the war, he emigrated to Israel where he served as a soldier in the 1948 War of Independence. Join us for an extraordinary opportunity to hear Mr. Ayalon as we welcome him from Jerusalem to share his first hand account of persecution, survival and rebirth.
This program was made possible through the generosity of Joyce & Bill Cummings and the Cummings Foundation.
EDIT 11/8: Tufts Hillel posted photos from Ayalon’s visit to campus, as well as complete video from his talk.
