Lyon and Bendheim Alumni Lecture: Michael Granoff, A91
Posted by Georgy Cohen in General on February 10, 2011
On Feb. 9, Tufts welcomed back Mike Granoff, A91, to speak at this spring’s Lyon and Bendheim Alumni Lecture, “2011: The Year Israel Begins to Lead the World in an Oil-Free Future.”
Granoff is head of oil independence policies for Better Place, a company that aims to reduce the world’s dependency on petroleum by providing the services and networks – such as battery switch stations and charge spots – necessary to support electric vehicles. Granoff works with governments and industry to generate support and provide a policy framework to enable countries to covert from gas to electric powered cars. The company currently operates in Israel, Denmark, Australia and China.
The lecture was hosted by the Tufts University Alumni Association, Tufts Hillel, and Tufts Gordon Institute’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Program.
