The Legacy of Women Pop Artists

On Feb. 24, in reference to the exhibit Seductive Subversion: Women Pop Artists, 1958-68, Tufts University Art Gallery hosted a panel discussion addressing the impact and legacy of women artists active during the 1960s.

The panelists were Kalliopi Minioudaki, independent art historian and curator; Catherine Morris, curator at the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art, Brooklyn Museum; and Idelle Weber, artist. The panel discussion was introduced by Amy Schlegel, director, Tufts University Art Gallery, and moderated by Noit Banai, School of the Museum of Fine Arts/Tufts University.
