Larry Minear, a researcher at the Center until his retirement in 2006, has published a book, Through Veterans’ Eyes: The Iraq and Afghanistan Experience (Potomac Books, 2010). The narrative is based on interviews conducted by Minear himself, supplemented with eye-witness materials from veterans of the conflicts available in the public domain. Undertaken with the Center’s encouragement, the research relies on the inductive methodology which characterizes our work. The book’s findings have been the subject of debriefings at Tufts and presentations to academic, policy, and community groups around the country.
