Long time no see! I trust that all you students are relishing your summer vacation. For those among you who are employed, you may be contemplating how to best utilize your summer recess. As for myself, I am currently situated outside the United States. Updates from the Hitachi Center for Technology & International Affairs

The Hitachi Center for Technology & International Affairs recently released its annual newsletter, and it’s clearly been a busy year. Under the guidance of Co-Directors Professors Carolyn Gideon and Josephine Wolff, the Hitachi Center encompasses everything related to tech policy and cybersecurity at Fletcher, growth areas of the curriculum that have seen increasing interest from students in recent years.

New student bloggers: introducing Gautier

I’m always excited to introduce readers to new student bloggers. Particularly so this year, as we have some new contributors from some of Fletcher’s more specialized degree programs. Today we’ll meet Gautier, a student in the Master of Arts in Transatlantic Affairs (MATA) program. The MATA is a jointly-awarded degree between Fletcher and the College of Europe based in Belgium, whose students spend time at both institutions as well as in an internship focused on the Transatlantic relationship.
