Community Food Economy: The community food economy map is a platform for adding information about individuals’ experiences within the food economy. It is ultimately up to community organizations and their members what information they would like to have displayed on this map. The information added to this map could include economic activity that is accounted for in the “community economy”, such as bartering, trading, sharing of food; as examples, the map could include backyard garden or rooftop food production, informal catering services, gardening activities and workshops, or information about free meals. Clicking on any of the maps below will bring you to the dynamic map in Google Fusion. At the bottom of the page are links to the editable versions of each of these maps.
The Google Fusion Table User’s Guide will help with navigating and editing the maps.
