Member, National Academies Board on Radioactive Waste Management, Committee on Transportation of Radioactive Waste (2003-2006);

Member, Massachusetts Stewardship Council (2004-2012);

Member of the Board of The Center for Whole Communities, Fayston, VT (2006-2009).
