We All Want Love

Kyle Carbone, A13, wanted to leave his creative mark on Tufts before jetting off to Spain for a semester abroad. After receiving a handheld camcorder for Christmas, a video felt like the perfect medium. Carbone choreographed a dance for two, teaching it to his friend and fellow dancer Cindy Ko, A12, in only an hour. The two then shot the full length video on campus to the tune of “We All Want Love” by Rihanna. As Carbone stated:

I knew I wanted to publish something creative before going abroad, sort of an ode to my time at Tufts thus far. I heard the song, ‘We All Want Love,’ at the end of second semester and immediately fell in love. It has such a simple but pertinent message.

Carbone hopes to film another video while in Spain, as well as put together a project with Spirit of Color when he returns to campus. In the meantime, you can check out his directorial debut below:
