In mid-November, Tufts Ideas Exchange (TEX) held its one-day forum in order to jump start unique and thought provoking discussion on campus. With its optimistic mission statement, TEX aims to “create an ideal environment for ideas to thrive and be shared.” Alisha Sett, A12 delved into the topic of the the growing and cumbersome power of large corporations in America, and how this power influences the government and by extension each one of our lives. Sett is currently the Program Coordinator for the Oslo Scholars Program, an initiative that provides a venue for undergraduates to attend the Oslo Freedom Forum.
