Blinded by the (solar) light

In this opinion piece for the Financial Times, we argue that the preliminary decision to impose dumping tariffs on imports of solar panels from China is short sighted and contrary to U.S. interests.  Co-authored with Kevin P. Gallagher of Boston University.

  1. There’s nothing wrong about being environment friendly. In fact, the Earth needs it because of the many problems it is currently facing such as global warming. To generate electricity, fossil fuels are needed but with the continuous burning of fuels, global warming will also become worse.
