About Tufts Medicine
Tufts Medicine, the thrice-yearly magazine of Tufts University School of Medicine and the Sackler School of Graduate Biomedical Sciences, is produced by the Tufts Office of Publications.
The periodical was first published as a newsletter in 1941, and since has evolved into an award-winning, full-color magazine.
Tufts Medicine works both as a unifying force for a medical enterprise that extends across three New England states and includes more than a dozen affiliated hospitals, and as a calling card between Tufts and the wider world.
A magazine is like a conversation. If the talk is lively and compelling, you stick with it. If not, you soon duck your head and move on. Tufts Medicine tries to say some interesting, even complex things in a way that keeps you listening. We may say something funny, then something quite serious, then something thoughtful, all within the space of a few pages. We want to inform and entertain you, to keep you in the room. We try to tell a few good stories along the way.
