As an MPH Candidate concentrating in Global Health, my particular interests lie in sexual and reproductive health. I have had the pleasure of working with several incredible organizations, including building a grassroots community organizing initiative with Partners In Health and interning with Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts and Pathfinder International. My international experience includes my Junior year in college at Tufts University, when I studied abroad in Sevilla, Spain. There, I taught English and dance to a group of middle school girls in an underserved community divided by issues of immigration, ethnic differences, and poverty. The time I’ve spent in a variety of countries, including Peru, Ecuador, Morocco, and more has developed my love for travel; combined with a strong passion for social justice, these experiences brought me to the field of global health, where I intend to stay.

This e-portfolio looks at women of reproductive age and their understanding of hypertension. It is a precursor to the study I will be implementing in Haiti this upcoming summer.
