Graduate Intern [American Textile History Museum]

The American Textile History Museum is seeking a graduate intern to assist the curator with preliminary research and object selection for a wedding dress exhibit in the spring of 2013. Specific duties include researching period magazines, drafting object labels, creating a bibliography, and researching individual garments. Individual must have excellent computer skills, artifact handling skills and be detail-oriented, precise, and careful in executing responsibilities. A background in costume history or experience with costume preferred. Please send a cover letter and resume to Karen Herbaugh at kherbaugh@athm.org. Internship for the spring 2012 semester.
