Position Title: Docent Program Coordinator

Full-time Position
The Docent Program Coordinator is responsible for leading and managing all
aspects of GRAM’s docent program.  This position includes planning docent
training sessions around key issues in gallery teaching, and developing
materials, information, and a curriculum of studies for docents. The Docent
Program Coordinator will also lead ongoing program expansion that will
encompass adding more volunteer docents and developing an enhanced menu of
tour programs.

Candidate must have proven leadership and organization skills, be an
inspiring public speaker, and  possess a Bachelor’s degree (MA preferred) in
art history or art education and be knowledgeable of current trends in
gallery teaching strategies.  They must also be proficient in Microsoft
Office software, familiar with social media, and be able to work a flexible
full-time time schedule, including nights and weekends.
