Visitor Services Positions [Ohio Historical Society]

The Visitor Experience Department of the Ohio Historical Society is
responsible for school programs, public program, interpretive services and
front line staff.  There are three positions open in that department:****

Coordinator of Program and Sales Scheduling********

The Ohio Historical Society is seeking a candidate to coordinate sales and
scheduling for public programs, school programs, and other group tours at
the **Ohio** **History** **Center** and****Ohio** **Village****.  This
position works closely with the public and outside clients and will need to
be able to effectively communicate the offerings of the Center and
Village.  An ideal candidate will be extremely detail oriented and able to
multi-task.  The position will require some evening and weekend work. ****

Duties include:****

– Responsible for handling incoming call, emails, and inquiries for
scheduling public programs, school programs and other group events.****
– Communicate OHS educational and public programs to potential customers.
– Coordinate closely with Facilities Use, Public Programs and School
Programs to ensure coverage.****
– Communicate with staff about upcoming events, groups or other programs.
– Responsible for researching and resolving complaints to ensure
customer retention and satisfaction.****
– Responsible for collecting and reporting statistical data about
program and event attendance.****
– Responsible for ensuring that all appropriate detail paperwork is
complete including staff and customer event and program confirmations.***
– Responsible for suggesting methods to improve area operations,
efficiency and service to both internal and external customers.****

This position requires a Bachelor零 degree in an appropriate field or
equivalent work experience plus a minimum three years related experience. **
