*Summary of Responsibilities: *Under the supervision of the Executive
Director, the Coordinator of School and Community Programs develops and
implements a cohesive group of education programs that link school and
community audiences with LSU MOA’s collections and exhibitions.  The
Coordinator is committed to arts-integration in K-12 education and creates
innovative and collaborative educational programs with the University, as
well as other artist organizations and school partners in Baton Rouge.  The
coordinator meets monthly with civic stakeholders in East Baton Rouge
Parish with interest in the arts, including the Mayor’s office, the Manship
Theatre, and LASM.*  Required Qualifications:* Master’s degree in art
history, museum education, or related field; seven years of work
experience; prior supervisory experience; track record of successful grant
writing; knowledge of current education theories and trends in formal and
informal educational settings. *Special Requirements:  *Must be available
to work some nights and weekends.  This position requires a current
Louisiana Class “E” driver’s license. If you have a current out-of-state
driver’s license and you are hired, you must acquire a Louisiana Class “E”
driver’s license and submit a copy of your license to the department prior
to your hire date. *Additional Qualifications Desired: *Experience within a
university art museum setting; demonstrated ability to organize and
prioritize short-term and long-term projects; exceptional oral and written
communication skills; demonstrated ability to work independently and in
collaboration with museum staff, university faculty and students, teachers,
school administrators, and docents; demonstrated interest in the sharing of
ideas and community building.  An offer of employment is contingent on a
