The CFAM Educator is responsible for planning, creating content for and coordinating the implementation of educational programming for the museum, with an emphasis on K-12 programs. The Educator will work existing staff and docents to develop engaging programs for students of all ages that connect with the Cornell’s teaching collection. Other responsibilities include contributing to creating marketing and outreach materials and to grant writing and reporting. The position, although part-time, includes a generous benfits package.
Job Requirements
MA in Art History, Museum Education or related field and at least 3 years of relevant experience in an art museum preferred. Superior communication skills, both verbal and written; teaching experience and experience in a small institution a plus.
