The American Textile History Museum (ATHM) seeks a creative, motivated team-player for oversight of education programs that engage our visitors, the community, students, teachers, and families. The right candidate will build on already successful programs to enhance the visitor experience, increase education department revenue, and contribute to the communities beyond our walls. Equal parts visionary, entrepreneur, and practitioner, this person will provide both depth of thought and new ideas, as well as supervision of budget and department operations. We are looking for an individual with a background in education, administration and program management to take a leadership role in extending ATHM’s reach while expanding and enhancing the museum’s activities in the community.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree a plus. Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience in education (preferably museum experience as well), be familiar with school systems, be a highly organized team player with the ability to multi-task, have exemplary verbal and written communication skills, have marketing experience, and be able to manage a changing and varied workload. Grant writing experience is a plus.
