An international, urban-travel company is looking for someone with a
strong commitment to learning through travel and sustainable travel.
Operating in 24 cities and fifteen countries,_Context Travel_organizes
“walking seminars,” small, in-depth, learning experiences led by our
consortium of Ph.D.-level scholars and experts. Continually expanding to
new cities and recruiting new docents, we have offices in Paris, Rome,
London, Istanbul, and Philadelphia.

Context Travel is currently looking for a graduate student intern in
museum education, arts education, museum administration, or other
relevant field of study to assist with the development of resources for
our Family Walks.The intern will work with our learning consultant,
Linda Norris, to identify key materials for family activities from
existing walks and docents;work with the learning consultant and docents
to develop additional family materials as appropriate for walks focusing
both on museums and cities; and create online resources for docent
use.This is an unpaid internship, available for course credit.The
successful applicant will have a demonstrated interest in family
learning, ability and the motivation to work independently, either
remotely or in the Philadelphia office; skills as a creative thinker and
problem solver; and have a lively interest in scholarly exploration of
cities and cultures.International travel experience a plus. Flexible
work schedule and hours to be determined, approximately 5-10 hours/week
for one semester.
