The Special Events Coordinator/Manager is a part-time, year-round position responsible for the effective planning, supervision and implementation of several large public events with attendances of 1,500 – 3,000. This role oversees all aspects of major annual events including: event design, budget, permitting, departmental coordination, guest services, entertainment, staging, rentals, staffing, signage, marketing, catering and appropriate site usage in a unique historical venue.  Candidates should possess exceptional organizational and time management skills. Experience with events of a similar size, supervising and working with all levels of personnel, volunteers and VIPs would be ideal.
