The Gardner Museum seeks a creative, outgoing individual to become our new
Studio Projects Coordinator.  The Studio Projects Coordinator is responsible
for planning, budgeting, scheduling and facilitating artist projects and
other studio activities to engage Gardner visitors in the creative process.
He/she develops hands-on projects, for visitors of all ages, that spark
creative looking and thinking about art, education, landscape and music, and
that help visitors make their own connections to the Museum’s collection and
special exhibitions. Working with a team of committed museum educators and,
the Studio Projects Coordinator ensures that the Studio has an especially
inviting look and feel, and experiments with inventive ways to animate other
spaces in the new Renzo-Piano designed wing.

The successful candidate will be organized, articulate, and collaborative;
have a degree in studio art or a related field; and 2-5 years experience
developing studio projects related to museum collections.  Weekend and
evening work is required.
