The Public Programs Presenter is responsible for the presentation of informal science education programs on various topics presented throughout the Academy. Informal presentations may include feeding programs, live-animal programs, intimate small-group programs, programs for young children, etc. The Public Programs Presenter is comfortable interpreting any topic relevant to the Academy for general audiences. This is a 30-hour per week, full-time, benefitted position.

 

The ideal candidate will possess experience in science, science education, natural history, outdoor education, and/or theater, two-years experience in informal science education. A Bachelor or Associates degree is preferred , with familiarity with working in a large, multi-tiered organization a plus.
