the engineering marvel that is the Harbor Bridge, CCMSH is located in
the heart of the SEA District. It’s a world of knowledge, intrigue and
hands-on adventure that takes you through decades of epic stories and
galaxies of explained and unexplained phenomenon. The CC Museum
of Science & History is over 90,000 sf , established in 1957 and recently
under a private/public management agreement.

Museum Exhibit Development Manager sought for a combined Science, History and Children’s museum in South Texas.
This is a leadership role that will work closely with the Executive Director, Collections Manager, Education Director and
museum team to create immersive, state of the art educational environments with a strong wow factor and educational
take-away that will appeal to a broad age range with emphasis on enhancing the guest experience at the museum.
This role requires an action oriented, forward thinking leader and implementer to lead and direct the exhibit
development process from early concept through design and fabrication, to installation and project completion. Exhibit
Development Manager will be responsible for updating existing exhibits and working with internal and external
resources to develop new permanent, temporary and travelling exhibits.
This position will work closely with and report to the Executive Director to insure that every exhibit project fulfills four
equally important and complimentary objectives: 1) outstanding guest experience; 2) outstanding educational “take
away”; 3) delivered on schedule; and 4) delivered on budget.

Required qualifications are as follows: Bachelor’s degree required,
preferably in a design-related discipline (e.g. architecture, dimensional
design, product development, engineering graphic design, industrial
design, etc.). Minimum five years of professional experience is required
in exhibit design, product development or a related field with strong
brainstorming and conceptual skills, engineering understanding,
production design, design execution, project management and
budgeting experience.
