The Elkhorn Valley Museum (historical museum) in Norfolk, NE seeks a full-time Director of Education who will be responsible for museum programs, activities, tours, and exhibits. This position reports to the Executive Director. This museum is home to a large Johnny Carson exhibit as Norfolk is Johnny’s home town. The museum serves 22 counties in rural northeast Nebraska, where Interstates are far but history is near at heart. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and a good communicator. Must be customer-service oriented. Experience in public speaking, designing and creating museum exhibits/programs, and teaching children a plus. Bachelor’s degree and professional experience in a museum-related field is strongly preferred. Pay commensurate with education and experience. Interested candidates may send resume and cover
