The Grey Art Gallery, New York University’s fine arts museum, seeks a full-time Grants/Finance Manager with excellent writing, analytical, budgeting, and interpersonal skills. Principle responsibilities include administering operating and restricted budgets in accordance with University systems and protocols. Review and approve expenditures; oversee maintenance of financial records and reconciliation of expenditure control reports. Prepare budgets, expense reports, and financial plans. Oversee Gallery’s daily administrative operations. Conduct research for grant proposals for federal, state, and foundation solicitations. Communicate with funding agencies, university development officials, and Office of Sponsored Programs. Draft budgets, prepare narratives, and submit funding proposals. Prepare and submit final grant reports. Oversee maintenance of information management and financial applications to ensure efficacy and integrity of Gallery computer systems. Hire and supervise computer consultants when needed.

Advanced degree preferred with at least 5 years working in non-profit, arts institution. Excellent benefits (including tuition remission) and competitive salary.
