The U.S. Department of the Interior, Indian Affairs has a job posting for a Staff Curator, GS-13. This is NOT an entry-level position. The collections – numbering 5.7 million objects – are primarily archaeological, including NAGPRA cultural items, and are housed in both Federal and non-Federal repositories throughout the United States. The Staff Curator will also have direct oversight for ethnographic and historical collections, as well as artwork, in the Washington, D.C. metro area. The duties are primarily in collections management and registration work.

There are two postings for ONE position; applicants should refer to the posting for their status.
