The Arch Street Meeting House (ASMH) seeks an Assistant Programs Coordinator to provide organizational and administrative support for the meetinghouse.  The ASMH is a National Historic Landmark located in Old City, Philadelphia that promotes the historical impact and continuing relevance of Quakers through exhibits, tours, and educational programming.

The Assistant Programs Coordinator is responsible for duties that include: administrative tasks related to the operation of the ASMH, managing building use and rentals, scheduling docents and booking tour groups, web based and in person promotion of the ASMH, as well as maintaining a database of contact information of those who support the ASMH.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree and demonstrated professional experience promoting events or venues.  Organization, time management, problem solving, and decision-making skills are necessary for this position, as well as front-line customer service training.  Marketing and graphic design experience is desirable.  Candidates should have the proven ability to maintain a flexible schedule to supervise the logistics of programs and events as needed. Candidates must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills including experience working with individuals from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google products and familiarity with updating websites and social media platforms required.
