Description:

Must be available to work nights/weekends starting in May

Hours vary from approximately 6 – 24 hours most weeks. (According to schedule)

Staff members fulfill different, rotated roles per each event as described below

Parking Monitor:

  • Strictly follows Museum Events Parking Plan
  • Sets up parking signs and returns them to proper area at event conclusion
  • Works in consort with designated Police detail to oversee Parking Plan
  • Directs guests and visitors to available parking areas
  • Assures that guests do not park in prohibited or restricted areas and spaces
  • Contacts guests to move vehicles if parked incorrectly
  • Welcomes guests to the Museum

Museum Events Support Staff:

  • Welcomes guests to the Museum
  • Observe and monitor vendors and guests while inside the Museum or designated Park and/or lawn areas prior to, during, and at the conclusion of events
  • Ensures that all vendors, guests and visitors observe standards of safety, security and respect of Museum artifacts and general overall regard that events are being staged inside a museum
  • Shares Museum information/knowledge of collections and exhibits with guests when asked
Qualifications:
Candidate must be professional in all respects including: dress, grooming, reliability, punctuality, courteousness, respectfulness etc.

The Larz Anderson Auto Museum is home to “America’s oldest car collection.” For over 75 years the Larz Anderson Auto Museum has been supporting the community through a variety of educational programs, exhibits, and lectures.

Today the Museum’s primary goal is its continued support of the community through educational outreach and the preservation of our permanent collection of early automobiles. The Larz Anderson Auto Museum hopes to serve as a resource for your automotive and cultural interests.
